ReplyDeleteThat tshirt he's wearing is absolutely awful. Did that used to be fashionable? Or did the wardrobe department not have anything smaller? It got cut anyway so noone ever had to wear that horrible thing again 😂
ReplyDeleteIt might be the fashion of the time. In the 1990s rappers tend to wear oversized clothing and kid rappers like Kris Kross also influenced kids fashion. "Tom" may be just following the trend, or, for some reasons, he was stealing his dad's shirt for the day. Yeah, too bad the shirt-cutting is not shown (as with most cases), I would've liked to see the process of that behemoth being destroyed, I wonder if it's easier or harder for the paramedics to ruin that Kraken of a shirt.
DeleteI wouldn't think that monstrosity of a shirt took much effort to cut, Not with those scissors. An extra second or 2 maybe.

ReplyDeleteWhat a time capsule this is, it's kinda weird watching the outdated procedures. Instead of chest compression, that doctor is ready to hammer his fist on to the little boy's chest, sure to seriously smash some rib cage. Also, the vigorous way the paramedic shake the unconscious boy, as if just waking a normally sleeping child...weird to watch.
DeleteWhat's also unexplainable is why that paramedic "stole" the kid's game and bring it to the hospital? As evidence of electrocution?

DeleteHospy, why do you think it's a different boy? Because of the different shorts he's wearing? I think it's the same kid - same hair type and same face. That photo still is indeed not a capture of what was already filmed, it's the usual promotion piece that's specially posed and separately photographed. I see that the same persons that acted in that episode - playing both patient and medical personnel - appear in the photo. It's just that the crew wasn't keeping the continuity with what the kid was supposed to wear. Obviously the cast was oblivious about it, too.
ReplyDeleteLike you say, his hair style and face do match. I think the fact it doesn't resemble any scene in that episode causes confusion. But, the same team are there and I did think it could be more for promo than realism.
DeleteHi! this is a long shot but i was wondering if you knew anything about a certain cpr scene. i’ll describe it as best as i can but i’ve been coming up empty handed and figured i’d give this a shot. i know there’s a kid, the antagonist is a psycho i’m pretty sure (?), and then the protagonist which revives the kid. the kid is kidnapped i presume and the antagonist paints clown makeup (?) on the kids face and suffocates him with a plastic bag after the kid says something to irk him off. he is then rescued by the protagonist and resuscitated with cpr and mtm. this is a terrible summary but it’s what i can remember. this video was either on the old defib/cprkids blogs years ago. thank you for your time!
