How to do CPR with 2 Responders

How to do CPR with 2 Responders

Teaching how to do CPR on a child. Not quite sure what the point of the AED reference is in this video as it is never actually attached.

  1. Yes, I wondered about that too when I watched this video the first time about 3 years ago. Why aren't they demonstrating the use of the AED apart from a shot of pressing a button? Maybe they don't have a trainer AED and were afraid to apply the real one on a child? Anyway, in the same YouTube channel, the boy appears in another video as a Heimlich victim.

    1. If they aren't going to show how to attach the pads or show the child with the pads on him then they shot of the AED unit shouldn't be included. It is just confusing and could cause issues in real life situations.

I refreshed the page yet it still comes up with that message.

    1. I know Google have been changing the way some things work with blogger recently so that might have caused a problem.

  8. Alright, to compensate for the weird AED video above (but a good, well-shot CPR video anyway), here are some videos properly showing AED use. You may already have or posted some or all of them because they're not really new.

  9. Some videos promoting particular brand AEDs: two different boys are featured (upper faces concealed) with 5 different AEDs. That means the little boy wearing cars shorts had to be rolled over again and again to model the different AEDs.

  10. More commercial promotion (but still educational) videos of AED use. Same boy victim, same rescuers, two different kinds of AED. So the boy must have endured a longer shoot lying on that floor with two different AEDs applied on him.

This next one is a half-hour long promotional/educational video, and the section on children/infant is between 17:46 and 21:55

Hopefully any of them is useful for the blog.

    1. I've seen at least 1 of those first 2 but have possibly seen them both and not realised they were different AEDs.

In order to get away with using the same tshirt for both AED video's, the first parts (up until 01:23) are the same.

I have never seen that 30 min video. Another great find JCH. Thanks for posting them.
